Mauro was once part of the notorious drug scene at Zurich’s Platzspitz, which later moved to the Letten area.

In the 1980s and 1990s, it was one of Europe’s largest open drug markets. After years of struggling with his addiction, he finally managed to break free – a turning point that changed his life.

Today, nearly 30 years later, Mauro lives free of dependency, works at an adventure playground, and is preparing for retirement.
